Midland City Easter Egg Hunt

Midland City Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Midland City Event Committee hosted a fun-filled and memorable Easter Egg Hunt on April 4, 2026, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at Midland City Elementary School. With beautiful weather and smiling faces all around, approximately 50-60 children gathered to take part in the exciting hunt for over 1,000 colorful eggs—including much-anticipated golden eggs! We would like to recognize our lucky winners picked for the basket raffle: Girl- Bre-Niya Dennis, Boy-Edwin Martinez, and Adult – Edna Green, Congratulations!

Laughter and excitement filled the air as children raced across the grounds, eager to fill their baskets. To keep everyone energized, pizza, water, and juice were provided, making it a true community celebration.

The event was made even more special by the presence of the Midland City and Dale County queens, who jumped right in to assist and interact with the children. Their support added a wonderful touch of community pride and encouragement.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Grimsley and Councilman Kendall for their continued support in making this even a success. The crowd’s favorite was Mr. Easter Bunny (Tom), who made a grand appearance riding atop our Midland City Fire Truck #2 driven by Tyler Buchanan bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of photo opportunities.

We are also incredibly grateful to all the vendors who provided refreshments and to C&J inflatables for keeping the children entertained with fun activities like jumping and basketball. Your contributions helped make the day unforgettable.

Most importantly, we thank every family and child who came out to celebrate. Events like this remind us of what a strong and joyful community we have here in Midland City.

“Together” we make Midland city the great community we’re proud to call home.
